When Clients Become Family: Mr. Itkins the Racehorse

At Scorpion, we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our clients. As Internet marketing experts, we view ourselves as extensions of our clients' business, and we work hard to become more than just a vendor. This commitment to client satisfaction can be seen no better than in the partnership we have forged between our team of professionals at Scorpion Design and the legal team at Arnold & Itkin LLP.

As the owner of Kretz Racing, Scorpion's President Rustin Kretz cemented this close relationship when he named two of his racehorses after Arnold & Itkin's founding partners. One racehorse was dubbed Mr. Itkins for Attorney Jason Itkin and another was named Hook Em Kurt after Attorney Kurt Arnold, in a nod to their love of UT. "Arnold & Itkin is one of our favorite law firms," said Kretz. "To us, they are more than clients—they are family. Naming these horses was a way to honor that relationship."

Today, Mr. Itkins took to the track while wearing Kretz Racing silks emblazoned with the Scorpion logo. In a 7-horse field, he dominated—charging down the backstretch to claim victory. "We are thrilled," said Kretz. "Both Scorpion and Arnold & Itkin are committed to winning, and we could not be happier that our dedication manifested in Mr. Itkins' win today. He is a special horse that represents a special law firm."

Arnold & Itkin is a personal injury law firm based in Houston, Texas. Throughout the years, they have successfully recovered more than $1 billion in verdicts and settlements, even setting state records. For example, their firm recovered the largest single-event, personal injury verdict in Louisiana state history when they recovered $117 million in an ambulance accident case. They also represented nearly a third of the Deepwater Horizon crew following the tragic accident in 2010. To learn more, please visit either or today.
