We are thrilled to announce that at the recent 2020 DISRUPTOR Awards, the Los Angeles Business Journal honored Scorpion with the coveted RSM Middle Market Award!
The DISRUPTOR Awards are held annually by the LABJ to recognize trailblazing LA-based companies. While this year’s ceremony was virtual, the Scorpion team was proud to participate in the event alongside so many innovative local businesses from a wide variety of industries.
The LABJ considers a “disrupter” as a company or product so far ahead of the competition that it introduces something utterly different to the market. It propels radical change, growth, and above all, challenges the business world around them to adapt.
With our data-driven yet accessible approach to digital marketing, Scorpion certainly fits that bill.
While there were numerous categories of awards bestowed throughout the event, the RSM Middle Market Award honors outstanding middle-market companies that have made a significant positive impact on the Los Angeles-area economy.
Our Chief Marketing Officer, Corey Quinn, accepted the award on Scorpion's behalf by saying, "Thank you for this. It means a lot to us as a business, and it's a great recognition of the fantastic work that our employees do."
When asked by the award presenter how the company's culture has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic, Corey explained that maintaining constant communication with employees and leadership teams has allowed Scorpion to stay on course during the current quarantine.
