Scorpion is proud to announce that our very own CEO, Rustin Kretz, has recently been recognized by the Santa Clarita Valley Business Journal as their 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year. The SCV Business Journal has been the leading publisher of local business news and events throughout Santa Clarita since 2009. Its circulation includes over 4,000 business owners, CEOs, CFOs, and business leaders throughout the area.
On September 28, Rustin attended the SCV Entrepreneurs Event hosted at the Valencia Country Club to accept the award. “I think it’s awesome to be part of this,” Rustin said during his acceptance speech. “We’re a great community, and I’m excited to see this community continue to grow. One piece of advice I’d say to any business is to simply focus on your employees and their happiness. It just makes all the difference.”
Rustin’s success with Scorpion can be traced back to our company’s beginning in 2001. We have since grown to more than 550 employees with offices throughout several states across the country. We are also planning to open up our California headquarters with a new building in Valencia by the end of the month.
