As a result of their success, Scorpion's team has seen success of our own, as we have been able to add new additions to all departments.
We quickly began running out of space in our Dallas, Texas office, and needed more room to grow. We are thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of our new Addison office in Texas, which is triple the size of our previous Dallas location.
On May 5th, our Scorpion team joined with Addison city officials, the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce, and community members for the office’s grand opening celebration. We marked the event with a few words from our CEO, Rustin Kretz, followed by a ribbon cutting, lunch, and champagne toast.
“We’re really proud to be here,” Rustin said at the grand opening. “There’s a lot of growth that we’re going to be having here and it’s an exciting time for us.”
Addison City Council Member Al Angell gave Scorpion a hearty welcome to the community, noting that the city is “glad to have new blood moving into Addison.”
The Addison site features about 14,000 square feet and is located about 15 miles north of our previous location in Dallas. We currently have more than 40 employees in the new office—though we aren’t stopping there, according to Matthew Shepherd, Scorpion’s Chief Financial Officer.
“We loved our home in the West End, but we needed to find a property to accommodate our growth,” he said. “The additional space in our new Addison Circle office allows us to continue to bring in more employees and ramp up the level of service we provide to our clients. We took the opportunity during the renovation phase to build out the space in a way that promotes collaboration, which is a critical element to how Scorpion functions. ”
Jamie Adams, Scorpion’s Chief Revenue Officer who spearheaded Scorpion’s Texas division, said the move not only benefits the company and its clients, but also its employees.
“We needed to settle into an area and space that could both accommodate our future growth and provide our employees access to great accommodations. The city of Addison and Addison Circle made perfect sense for that plan,” Jamie said.
He noted that Addison is a great community as well as a more convenient location for the majority of Scorpion’s Texas-based employees who now get to deal with less traffic during their daily commutes. The new office is located at 5040 Addison Circle, Suite 300, Addison.

The recent move to Addison is just one aspect of the major growth that Scorpion has been experiencing in recent years. We will soon be relocating our Valencia, California headquarters to a new, custom-designed building in the same city that will provide collaborative workspaces and more room for new employees.
