Updates to Google Local Service Ads - COVID-19 Service Selections

Today on Google Local Service Ads (LSA) accounts, Google rolled out the option to present COVID-19 updates to potential customers. Whether you run your LSAs with Scorpion, a different provider, or on your own, we highly suggest that you utilize this option on the account during this time.

Google has updated their Local Service Ads platform to display some new service selections related to COVID-19. These updates allow you to show your potential customers what your company is doing to keep them safe. Businesses can now display special service types, including video estimates, using protective gear, and accepting financing options.  Below are snippets of the available settings on LSA accounts. These cannot be edited and we can only select the options seen below. Remember to only add highlights that are true for your business. 



They have also added the ability to select a business status, which will show the business as temporarily closed or taking customers with the ability to choose those business hours.
