Scorpion is seeking a Lead Front-End Developer to join our team!
As a Lead Front End Developer, you’ll work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to help ensure the successful outcome and delivery of our client-facing product.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are passionate about delivering client-facing products and looking for a broad scope of responsibility. Helping to build a new set of applications, this role will aid us as a driver of significant revenue in the future. Successful candidates will be innovative, work well with others, and ultimately be passionate about the products they work on. Experience with Angular, or other JavaScript frameworks, is also necessary to succeed in this role.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain simple to complex front-end components.
- Mentor colleagues and junior-level talent on best practices and methodologies.
- Help build multi-step stateful wizards which rely on real-time data.
- Help identify and fill any gaps while building out new features.
- Implement and maintain repointing and KPIs.
What You'll Need
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Angular or other JavaScript frameworks, HTML, SCSS, and node. Preferably experience building out client-facing applications.
- 2+ years of experience using Angular 2+ is required.
- Must have a solid understanding of RESTful and Graph APIs.
- Extensive knowledge of state management, especially as it relates to caching and updating API requests.
- You must have a deep understanding of Rxjs.
- Must be passionate and a team player.
- Knowledge of advertising systems like google ads.
- Preferably some full stack experience with C#, Node.js, etc.
- Preferable experience in a combination of the following: Microsoft Azure, RESTful architecture, Angular 2+, API development, Rxjs, Google Ads, C#, and/or Node.js.
- Must be able to tell the Recruiter a great joke.
