Your Legal Profile Can Now Go Live in Local Services Ads (LSAs) Before Verification Wraps Up

If this sounds familiar, it's because you may have heard it happen for home services businesses first. Google just extended the same accelerated path to Legal profiles running Local Services Ads (LSAs).

Legal profiles used to sit in a queue while Google worked through the full verification process before a single lead could come in. Now, eligible accounts can go live with the Verified badge sooner, while the last steps of verification finish in the background over the next 30 days.

What's Changing (and What Isn't)

The core verification requirements aren't going away. They’re just gaining one more piece. In addition to what's always been required, Business Registration is now part of the process too. Once everything's accounted for, the full list looks like this:

1. A verified and affiliated Google Business Profile (GBP)

2. Identity verification (IDV)

3. Featured Professional status

4. A Headshot

5. Business Registration

Worth keeping an eye on: This isn't the last change coming to legal verification requirements, and we'll share more as soon as we can.

What's new is the timeline around the process. Once your account clears the basics (budget, billing & GBP, you can go live with the Verified badge and start getting leads right away, instead of waiting for every piece to fully process first.

From there, you have 30 days to finish everything out. Get it done in that window, and your account moves seamlessly into fully verified status. No lead gap while the paperwork finishes clearing.
