Your Google Local Services Ads (LSAs) Can Now Go Live Before Verification Is Even Done

Google just cut weeks off the time it takes a home services business to start showing up in Local Services Ads with the Verified badge.

Businesses used to wait on a full round of background checks, license verification, and proof of insurance before a single lead could come in. Now, eligible accounts can go live almost immediately, then finish verification in the background over the next 14 days.

What's Changing

Three checks now stand in for the old process:

1. A business registration check

2. A business representative check (essentially a quick identity verification)

3. A verified and affiliated Google Business Profile

Once your account clears the basics (budget and billing), you can go live with the Verified badge and start getting leads right away.

From there, you have 14 days to finish registration and identity verification. Get it done in that window, and your account moves seamlessly into fully verified status. No lead gap while you wait on paperwork to clear.

How Does This Impact Me?

If you’re already running LSAs with Scorpion, nothing changes for you. If you haven’t started with LSAs yet, you can now start booking jobs from LSA leads within days, not weeks, while the remaining verification steps happen in parallel.
