Scorpion Cares

Bringing Care and Compassion to Communities and Organizations in Need

Giving is Our Priority and Responsibility

It’s our responsibility to give back by volunteering our time, expertise, and resources. Scorpion is proud to serve local and national charitable organizations that support those in need.

Here are a few of the charities we support

  • The Michael Hoefflin Foundation - Helping Kids With Cancer

Scorpion is honored to help foundations such as the Michael Hoefflin Foundation, receive the funds and support they need to continue helping families with kids battling cancer.

“Scorpion has been instrumental to the Michael Hoefflin Foundation, helping families of children who battle cancer in the Santa Clarita Valley area. They’ve been one of our biggest supporters for our annual 5K and gala and we are thankful for the generosity and support.”

  • Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital - Helping Local Women

Scorpion has partnered with Henry Mayo to support the development of the new Women's Unit, which will provide women with several forms of specialty care including gynecology, obstetrics, and surgery.

“It’s been a pleasure working with Scorpion on so many levels. From our fundraisers, to our our golf events to naming parts of our new building, they have been prominent in the growth of our hospital and the work we do here.”

  • Wounded Warrior Project - Helping Men and Women in Uniform

Every month, one of the employees at Scorpion is selected as the Employee of the Month (EOM). As the EOM, our employees are allowed to donate to the charity of their choice, and many Scorpions consistently donate to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).

“My family has a history of military service and a great respect for our country’s military,” said Scorpion employee Michael Edwards, after being chosen to select a charity. “We love our country, and we never forget that our freedom and ease of life is the result of the great sacrifices of our servicemen and women. Giving to a charity to help these brave men and women is nothing compared to their sacrifice, but I pray that it will help the Wounded Warriors Project help more soldiers and their families.”

The Wounded Warrior Project began from the vision of several veterans and friends who were moved by the stories of service members who were returning home from overseas. It began initially as a way to provide comfort items for those wounded men and women; however, it has since grown into a complete rehabilitative effort to help those soldiers transition back into the rhythm of a civilian life. As of June 2015, there are currently 70,000+ WWP alumni and 11,000+ family members helped.
