Job Overview
The Vice President of Brand Marketing is a leader and storyteller with solid brand marketing experience and the unique ability to align brand messages to target audiences and business objectives. You will work cross-functionally to develop and execute the brand vision across all channels. You will work closely with other company leaders to advance the brand, grow the community, and establish the company as a well-known and trusted partner.
You will lead and develop a team of professionals, including a broad responsibility covering content, events, communications, public relations, and creative.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Lead and be accountable for the vision, strategy, and results of brand positioning and campaigns, harmonizing a clear brand message across all channels, online and offline
- Create an environment and process for compelling brand marketing / advertising campaigns to come to life, ensuring campaigns are on-brand, executed on-time, and optimized at different times for experience, press coverage, brand engagement, and overall sales impact
- Build the marketing plan and implement key marketing, sales and customer-centric programs that will grow the customer base, improve retention and increase the lifetime value of customers
- Develop and collaborate with creative leaders as well as leadership and managers in budgeting and forecasting
- Inspire a high bar for visual design; refine designs; lend a critical eye to all creative, structural and technical output
- Foster, inspire and build strong in-house teams whose creative and strategic product rivals that of iconic, successful passion-based brands
- Identify, vet, and develop strong relationships with our key business partners, such as Branding, Marketing & Creative agencies

What You'll Need
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with an emphasis in marketing or advertising or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
- At least 10 years of experience in Brand, including managing a budget between $500K and $5MM
- Deep understanding of Brand and Creative, including how to craft a brand platform and brand identity that resonates with the target audience
- Ability to effectively sell ideas
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that is both high-growth and startup in nature
- Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire a large team of creatives
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams with a proven track record of performance optimization
- Creative and compelling communication skills with the ability to champion and drive positive change
