Job Overview

As the Marketing Associate, you will be the primary support function for a team of two (2) Account Managers to help our clients achieve their business goals through strategic and effective online marketing campaigns. You must be a professional and constantly improve your skills to be an expert in all aspects necessary to best serve our clients. 

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished team player with exceptional organizational and communication skills. 
The Marketing Associate is our feeder role to the Account Manager position, where the Account Manager retains primary ownership of client accounts. Candidates for this position should have a desire to grow in their career as a Digital Marketer.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of existing customer accounts
  • Acknowledge client requests & questions and continuously execute and refine the client's customized marketing campaign to ensure success
  • Ability to meet with (at Scorpion or elsewhere) clients and conduct productive and positive business meetings
  • Coordinate with Account Managers in determining new business opportunities with potential customers
  • Resolve customer issues/concerns in a timely manner
  • Cross-team coordination for tasks/projects

What You'll Need

Experience:

  • 2+ years of work experience managing accounts or clients, preferably in a Digital Marketing field
  • Bachelor's degree - MBA is a plus
  • SEO & SEM knowledge & strategy experience
  • Proven ability to work in partnership to connect and collaborate with others 
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, be detail-oriented and work independently as well as in groups
  • Strong organizational, project, and time management skills, able to address multiple projects/requests and meet tight deadlines with ownership and accountability
  • Customer-oriented, positive focus with a high standard of service and professionalism
  • Rapid problem-solving and critical thinking skills
