Senior Vice President of Regional Sales

Job Overview

As a Senior Vice President of Sales, you’ll be responsible for the overall success and direction of your Sales leaders. While you oversee the team from the top, you’ll have a hands-on, instrumental role in ensuring that your team aligns with Scorpion’s revenue and growth objectives. You’ll be experienced in earning the trust of leadership teams by coaching and guiding them while still empowering them to approach business challenges innovatively to excel in their respective areas.

To excel in this role, you’ll need to take a data-driven approach that actively seeks to improve Sales processes and their efficiency as a whole while partnering effectively with other leaders across the organization. You’ll be focused on aligning with Scorpion’s goal of achieving 100,000 clients on the platform and work closely with the Chief Sales Officer to ensure Sales does everything it can to support this becoming a reality.


  • Direct your leadership team in setting aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and targets on the regional and national scale and bring together all efforts to achieve success
  • Have a clear and granular grasp of sales performance at all times & continuously define and adjust to achieve milestones and long-term sales objectives
  • Work with the leaders on your team to refine and execute sales plans
  • Maintain thriving, meaningful business relationships with our existing client base and foster relationships with prospects
  • Meet with / visit existing or prospective clients to discuss Scorpion’s products and services
  • Review forecasts and individual/team seller metrics with your leadership team, ensuring targets are met and redirecting as needed
  • Performance Management of Sales Leaders and Sales representatives
  • Has the ability to work interdepartmentally and collaboratively
  • Develop a culture of trust, accountability, and performance within your team
  • Network with prospective clients and sell them on Scorpion to gain trust and earn net new business
  • Consult with marketing to devise new and innovative ways to market products and drive sales
  • Budget management
  • Recruit, Coach, and develop top sales talent


  • 10+ years’ experience directing a leadership team, strongly preferred within a similar industry
  • Must demonstrate a highly successful sales track record
  • A comprehensive understanding and experience in B2B sales, preferably within the MarTech industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum in Finance, Marketing, Business, or other related field
  • Proven success executing large-scale sales initiatives
  • Robust leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to motivate and inspire others
  • Be an expert relationship builder and people person capable of influencing outcomes
