The new list of “The Top 100 Most Expensive Keywords in the U.S.” for 2016 has been published on Search Engine Watch. It was created by EmpiricalProof using data collected from SEMrush in March 2016. It’s no big surprise to us that more than three-quarters of these keywords are related to attorneys and the legal industry, as legal keywords are known for being some of the most competitive search terms. In this list, legal keywords made up 9 of the top 10, as well as 78 of the top 100!

Just because a keyword has a high cost per click, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pursue it.
