Joseph Giancaspro

Joseph “Joe” Giancaspro is the Vice President of Engineering at Scorpion, focusing on mixed media advertising. He brings with him nearly two decades of programming experience, helping drive Scorpion’s advertising efforts across a wide range of channels.

With a degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, Joe has been involved in numerous technological projects throughout his career. He started as a software engineer for CompuWash, Inc., where he developed a car wash POS software and offline software for the company. He then co-founded Social Heads, where he acted as Chief Marketing Officer. During his tenure there, he led the charge on various initiatives, including developing a lead tracking platform for Google paid advertising campaigns, creating both SEO and SEM strategies, and more.

Following his time at Social Heads, Joe joined the team at Driven Local as Partner and VP of Engineering, helping develop software for clients' advertising. When Scorpion acquired Driven Local, he became a crucial lead in Scorpion’s own advertising technology team. Since then, Joe has played an integral role in expanding our advertising efforts, diversifying across channels, and bringing cutting-edge technology to our clients.

When Joe is not programming, he is spending time with his wife, three kids, cooking, and playing the guitar.
