Podcast: How Can Home Services Companies Get the Phones Ringing Again?

Eric Reuveni's Headshot Eric Reuveni President of Home Services

As America continues to reopen, there’s no doubt that every home services business owner will be hoping for revenue numbers to start climbing back up. But there’s a better strategy than hope — we’ve learned a lot about the ways people are searching for companies to get jobs done, and leaders who take the right steps will give themselves a head start when it comes to bringing in new customers.

To help home services business owners build a plan for coming out of the pandemic, two of Scorpion’s home services marketing experts recently joined the Blue Collar Nation podcast. In the episode, Josh Smith and Cheryl McRae share their advice on the mindset and marketing tactics that have succeeded for home services pros in the past, like the importance of building trust in local communities.

They also discuss the importance of understanding your company’s growth goals, its brand, and finding the right balance in your marketing message to support them both. Beyond that, they give a few recommendations for improving your company’s safety, communication, and the “soft skills” that play a surprisingly large part in consumers’ decisions.
