Job Overview

The Sales Team Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing the effectiveness of the Sales organization through the development, implementation and maintenance of a range of sales operations functions. This role will manage the maintenance and upkeep of key sales tools used to track forecasting, sales team performance, and key account level metrics.
The position will also apply analytical, problem solving and leadership skills while engaging sales team members and interdepartmental resources in the execution of streamlined sales processes.
The primary objective is to improve business function and sales productivity.

What You'll Need

Examples:

  • First, you will coordinate with the Sales Management Executives to create systems and process that support the goals and objectives of the sales organization.
  • Secondly, you will work with the Sales Operations team to execute the development and implementation of those processes.
  • Thirdly, you will work with other Scorpion departments to develop and maintain the tools and assets needed to ensure the Sales team’s success. 

What You'll Need

Accountability:

  • Coordinate with corporate marketing on any and all work that needs to be done. This includes USI coordination, conferences, content ideas, webinars, etc. Have an exact schedule of when things are going to happen.
  • Ensure that the targeted lists are high-quality, updated and the admin in the CS is up to standard
  • Train and work with CDRs on the team (if applicable) to ensure they are performing and winning
  • Will hold the line for CS categorization, queue usage, CS training, etc.Will participate in the morning stand up meetings and ensure actions are documented and executed
  • Will document meetings and report meetings notes to the team along with manage “to-do” lists in Monday.com
  • Will hold mock call training with the sellers when training is required and will report the team statistics to upper management
  • Will look into new lists, new targets, and review the cold lead queue to see if they need to be re-prioritized
  • Are responsible for communicating/coordinating with all other departments, if need be.
  • Are responsible to ensure that our capabilities presentations and proposals are standard.

What You'll Need

Success Metrics

  • Consistent, accurate reporting of metrics to Sales Management
  • Ongoing insights derived from data delivered to Sales Management that can be used for coaching and development
  • Rapid response to inbound leads that lead to appointments and deals (First Responders Team)
  • Support the creation, development and updating of training materials used by the sales team
  • Ongoing tracking and reporting of sales attainment
  • Commission reporting on a timely basis to finance Input to commission plans
  • Manage and create sellers territories
  • Support Sales Team in all non-selling activities ( Creation and monitoring of games, contests and spiffs/games for sales team (mojo)

What You'll Need

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience of managing Sales Operations in a SaaS software company
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities, and threats
  • Administrative expertise with our various internal sales systems
  • Strong project management skills
  • Results oriented with strong decision making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to evaluate sales team procedures and create processes to manage workflow
  • Process oriented, but flexible around business needs
  • Ability to provide consultative input to management regarding performance and productivity analysis and suggest optimal solutions
  • Patient listener, who respects the opinions of others and can comfortably implement a project plan or idea different from their own
  • Capacity to see and work both broadly and deeply within the organization
  • Must have a sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
  • Capacity to delegate responsibilities, yet ensure projects are completed accurately and timely
