Job Overview
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who is: self-motivated, innovative, works well under pressure, collaborates well with others, and can rapidly task switch on demand. As the DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for working with other members of the DevOps Engineering Team to create reusable and scalable solutions to assist the efforts of the development teams which ultimately creates our happy customers. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) are required to support our internal teams and keep the development efforts running quickly and smoothly, all while giving your "next level" of effort.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain existing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Produce high quality, reliable and serviceable automation and pipeline code
- Contribute to rapidly changing pipeline architectures Quickly implement development team requests for automation
- Investigate DevOps outages, help determine root causes and implement fixes
- Make recommendations and implement changes to improve automated development workflows
- Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps architecture
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes deployments
- Work closely with Systems Operations team to maintain reliable DevOps infrastructure
- Coordinate with all the development teams on projects
- Maintain a customer-focused service attitude and work ethic
What You'll Need
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2+years of experience working with Azure DevOps
- Must have at least 2+years of experience working with Azure Cloud, certification desired
- Must have at least 1+years of experience working with Kubernetes
- Must have at least 1+years of experience working with source control technologies, Git preferred
- Must have experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines - Azure DevOps required
- Must have experience with at least one advanced scripting language - PowerShell preferred
- Experience with software development and deployment lifecycle - Microsoft .NET preferred
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Experience with software development desired
- Experience with Azure diagnostic utilities for troubleshooting
- A competency in verbal and written communication skills
