Job Overview
The Advertising Success Manager is a crucial role that serves as an advisor to MMs by being a highly knowledgeable resource on all things Advertising 3.0 and educating them on the system and advertising strategies. You’ll provide advice, strategy, and ideas to support both the clients’ and the MM’s success.
Answering complex advertising questions and communicating big wins to clients using data will be everyday tasks, as will advocating for our Advertising 3.0 system and explaining how Scorpion’s latest technology works even more efficiently for the client.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for converting as many clients as possible to our 3.0 system
What You'll Need
Accountabilities:
- Answer client questions (primarily via email), provide logical insights, and give data to prevent hasty and problematic decisions
- Join calls with marketing managers and clients to explain advertising strategy
- Educate MMs and clients on why our strategies are the best long-term play
- Advocate for all advertising channels to be open and running, allowing the system to decide the best priority
- Rely on and defend strategies using data and metrics
- Prioritize client dictated work to see if it’s in line with Scorpion’s strategy, i.e., avoid doing work that will cause problems
- Actively work to decrease such requests through education about the partners chosen for clients and the campaign strategy
- Support automation and attempt to remove manual work wherever possible
- Strive to make sure the MMs feel supported
- Stay up to date on our system as a whole - why it does what, how it works, etc.
- Meet monthly with our advertising product team to remain up to speed on upcoming channels the clients can expect to see added into their advertising
- Meet with social strategy and search strategy teams to understand the latest best practices and strategy for our automated advertising channels
- Handle any simple tasks that are required and documenting this for your monthly Advertising Product Meetings
- Bring manual work to the product team to automate
What You'll Need
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience working with and comprehensive understanding of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Social Media Advertising
- Working proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, and Excel.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to self-start and remain on task with multiple projects at once
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Exceptional intrapersonal skills and bedside manner
- Ability to think critically and problem solve individually and within a group
