Job Overview

We’re looking for a content developer to assist our Franchise marketing team in crafting spot-on advertising copy as well as long-form content for various platforms in the franchising space.

As a copywriter on our team, you’ll develop compelling content for many different brands in many different industries. You’ll need to have a knack for understanding the necessary messaging, voice, and tone each unique brand strategy requires. You must also be able to grasp the ideal “language” for each client and execute this voice throughout all aspects of the sales cycle: from paid advertising copy to conversion-driven landing page copy, engaging web content, and compelling, highly-targeted email messaging. 

The ideal candidate must also fully understand the mechanics of language — style, grammar, syntax, editing, etc. and have a defined and well-backed answer on their usage of the oxford comma.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling B2B content that engages audiences and positions our clients as leaders in the franchising industry
  • Efficient, creative blog, digital ad, brochure, email, etc content writing
  • Perform online market research in a variety of industries
  • Conduct interviews with our clients in order to glean necessary information for content creation
  • Extremely web and email savvy
  • MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, writing, communications, or related field
  • 2+ years of copywriting/content creation experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work on several projects at once in a fast-paced marketing department with strong organizational skills
  • Almost obsessive attention to detail
  • Insatiable curiosity about… everything
  • Web content, blogging, and article writing/editing experience
  • Resourceful and enjoys market research
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • A background in B2B writing and/or an understanding of the franchising model is a huge plus
  • Flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor are also essential
