Job Overview

Are you someone that can confidently represent Scorpion and is a great public speaker with an entrepreneurial mindset? Would be able to communicate Scorpion value prop in an articulate and compelling fashion? Do you have experience hosting webinars, speaking on podcasts, and building relationships with key influencers in our space?

Scorpion is looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to join our growing Corporate Marketing team and report to the VP of Marketing Operations. This specific role will focus on our Home Services and Legal verticals.

What You'll Need

Accountabilities

  • Evangelize the Scorpion brand by: Representing Scorpion externally, Speaking at events, Hosting webinars, Writing guest posts, Speak on podcasts, Have presence on social media, Build relationships with influencers and key groups in the space.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the vertical (Home Services and Legal) by: Getting the informal “Voice of the customer” by knowing and talking to a ton of people in the space, Knowing what people are saying about our organization and competitors, Staying up to date on relevant vertical specific articles, posts, and reports, Keeping up with trends, issues, concerns, pain points in the vertical.
  • Help us make better vertical specific decisions by providing input on: Which events we attend and how we show up, Customer personas, Sales enablement/collateral, Case studies, and Content marketing.
  • Manage our customer evangelist program

What You'll Need

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Vertical specific knowledge and credibility
  • Compelling communicator and strong relationship building  skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and tolerance for ambiguity
  • Strategic thinker able to distill what they learn and weigh in on vertical specific decisions
  • Be able to work cross functionally
  • Ability to work cross functionally and influence stakeholders
  • Driven, self-motivated and outcome oriented
  • Organized and process driven
  • Experience in Partnership, Sales, Business Development, and similar roles in the relevant vertical industries
