Job Overview

We’re looking for a Recruiting Sourcer to support our Talent Acquisition team and help us find great talent!

As a Recruiting Sourcer for Scorpion, you’ll perform support tasks for the Talent Acquisition team, enabling them to be more efficient and focus on selecting and hiring the right candidates for our openings! You’ll support them in growing a pipeline of candidates for various openings and driving our hiring efforts by reviewing a high volume of resumes each day. You’ll also help with scheduling interviews, provide your team with summaries and recommendations from initial interactions with candidates, and ensure that job postings are engaging to attract talent and up in record time.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to excel at communicating with both hiring managers and candidates, and have a solid understanding of how role requirements translate into the best candidate for a position. This means an unmatched attention to detail but also the ability to see the big picture. You’ll be passionate about working on a team and interfacing with people every day—you recharge through social interaction and love finding new, awesome talent for growing organizations.

What You'll Do


  • Source and interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks such as LinkedIn
  • Craft and send recruiting emails and messages to passive talent you find
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Managers to determine position requirements
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
  • Present the Scorpion brand in a positive way to potential candidates
  • Support the development of talent pipelines for future hiring needs and maintain contact with past candidates who might be a fit for other roles
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, move onto the interview stage, receive offers and get hired
  • Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Maintain our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

What You'll Need


  • Experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role required
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques, such as recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings
  • Familiarity with Lever (preferred) or other Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with candidates
