Job Overview

Scorpion is looking for an experienced Director of Marketing Operations to join our growing Demand Generation team and report directly to the VP of Demand Generation.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading our new marketing operations team and owning the marketing tech stack, helping us achieve our next level of growth and maximize ROI. Your work will supercharge the overall Marketing team through automation, tools, and strategic problem solving.

What You'll Need

Accountabilities

  • Oversee marketing operations including processes, workflows, marketing systems, SLAs, email and database management
  • Partner with BI, Revenue Ops, Sales Ops, Product, and other Marketing teams to develop and execute the automation strategy and to measure the marketing activities, including analytics and dashboards, lead and account scoring, attribution, etc.
  • Leverage Marketo, Salesforce, and other tools to maximize marketing ROI
  • Oversee marketing automation quality assurance (QA)
  • Own the marketing tech stack roadmap, systems, and processes, including system administration, user guidelines, integrations, global compliance, security, and ongoing optimization
  • Deliver and/or support training efforts for other marketing team members and communicate best practices regularly
  • Create and implement a strategy for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the existing marketing database
  • Serve as the marketing subject matter expert (SME) and monitor the implementation of marketing data governance policies

What You'll Need

Education and Experience

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience with marketing automation platforms, specifically Marketo
  • 3-5 years’ experience of team management and/or team project management
  • Marketo Certified Expert credential required; SFDC certification preferred
  • Knowledge of marketing operations best practices required
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills
  • Required knowledge of data governance best practices
  • Ability to build new processes and workflows at scale
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
