Job Overview

As a Corporate Marketing Assistant, you’ll be responsible for mapping out the tasks required to implement the vision of projects your team handles. You will not only organize related tasks, but you’ll also have to prioritize which tasks are most important based on the scope of the project and your team’s current bandwidth. You must thrive on organization, as a huge part of this role is keeping everyone involved in a project on track and in the loop of updates, changes, etc.

Additionally, you’ll take full ownership of not only pushing the team from a strategic perspective, but also from an operational perspective. You must be versatile in directing and coordinating team members by delegating tasks, resolving conflicts, setting project milestones, evaluating progress, and promoting overall morale and teamwork. It is extremely important that you are able to maintain the overall objective associated with any project and not only have the vision of where to go, but also be able to clearly articulate that vision to the team.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research & development for new processes, systems, etc.
  • Ensure quarter goals are met and boost team morale (mojo)
  • Plan and organize team projects from start to finish
  • Determine how teams will measure success, develop project timelines, and define appropriate team members for projects 
  • Facilitate meetings with senior leadership and team members to determine the vision and scope of each project
  • Follow up with team members to ensure alignment and timely completion of tasks
  • Route all approvals, reviews, and revisions in a consistent and timely manner
  • Monitor metrics to gauge success, make adjustments to project plan and timeline as needed, and frequently communicate project progress to team members
  • Review project successes and failures, evaluate insights, make adjustments accordingly and present to leadership & department 
  • Perform general day-to-day project coordination, team alignment and coordination, production scheduling, follow-up and follow-through

What You'll Need

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of work
  • Customer service
  • SEO/SEM/Social Media experienced preferred
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong problem solving, time and task management, and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter and continual learner
