Job Overview

Scorpion is looking for a Communications Team Coordinator to join our Corporate Marketing team!

As a Team Coordinator, you will support the Corporate Communications team by creatively collaborating on projects across the team, producing and distributing assets, monitoring project timelines and solving problems that help enable your team to achieve their targets. Your main goal is to keep things organized and running smoothly for each project while handling a variety of administrative tasks.

You are a highly dependable person who likes collaboration across different disciplines, shines under tight deadlines and can work under minimal supervision. Paired with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, you are motivated by the fact that, as Scorpion’s employees and client base grow, the impact the communications team can make on the business grows also.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

  • Support your team with completing projects on time, within budget, and with minimal issues
  • Leverage a project management system to track and manage against internal and external due dates, budgets, milestones, and other information - and regularly report on progress to the team
  • Assist project stakeholders in defining scope, assets required, production timeline, and objectives and key metrics the team seeks to achieve
  • Monitor project progress and work with the team to make adjustments or shift priorities when necessary
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies to the project timeline or issues that will negatively impact the team’s objectives
  • Coordinate, attend, and participate in meetings with project stakeholders
  • Document to-do items, notes, and other correspondence
  • Assist the team in additional projects such as communication audits, content drafts, competitive research, tracking & reporting, and others as necessary.

What You'll Need

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience
  • Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to use Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, etc.), or other project management tools like Monday.com
  • Effective Communication and Organizational Skills
  • Detail oriented problem-solver
