Job Overview

We’re looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join our Corporate Marketing team!

Corporate Communications exists at Scorpion for the purpose of communicating wins, upcoming changes and events, as well as regular monthly updates to our employees. As a fast-growing company in the marketing / SaaS space, we strive to strike the right balance of excitement for the work we do, care, and transparency in the messages we distribute to our employees. As Scorpion continues to grow, so too have our digital communications needs!

As an Internal Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the VP of Corporate Communications with crafting and distributing internal communications and updates. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that employees are well-informed of things happening at Scorpion, including our company-wide updates and changes that affect Scorpions.

You know how to stir excitement using words while also understanding how to address heavier topics that require a more sensitive approach. You are a pro communicator, a skilled writer and self-editor, and excited to put your skills to good use. As you’ll be responsible for creating correspondence that will be distributed across all levels of the organization, you must be highly professional and capable of understanding how messaging may come across in order to achieve the intended effect. Though you’ll be mostly behind the scenes, this role is responsible for creating communications that are highly visible, and you need to be an inclusive-minded individual with strong emotional intelligence, who understands how to communicate to a diverse and ever-changing audience.

What You'll Do


  • Establish an internal communications strategy with the VP of Corporate Communications
  • Facilitate internal communications in every aspect from company all hands to executive and sensitive communications
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications including but not limited to internal webinars, Q&As, town hall meetings, etc.
  • Ensure internal communications are consistent across all mediums and teams, and with external communications
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations
  • Manage the overall calendar, execution, and delivery of internal communication from other departments
  • Draft communication for senior leaders

What You'll Need


  • Excellent writing and editing skills required as well as an exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience crafting internal communications, including emergency / crisis communications plans
  • Must be an exceptional communicator and writer with high emotional intelligence (EQ)
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, or other relevant field OR equivalent work experience required
  • Speaking & Presentation Skills
  • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
