Scorpion is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team! From facilitating initial conversations, to developing team wide best practices, you will be an integral member for our Demand Generation team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating excitement about Scorpion. What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and disposition (accept/reject) based on lead research
  • Create account and contact lists against an Ideal Customer Profile using contact research and acquisition tools
  • Coordinate with assigned reps to qualify opportunities; prepare for and book sales meetings with target prospects
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of Scorpion’s products/services and insight of client problems and objectives
  • Book product demonstration appointments between Scorpion Account Executives and potential clients
  • Send meeting agendas & outlines via calendar invite to all parties involved
  • Assist with managing customer information in the CRM database, ensuring accuracy and completeness

What You'll Need

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of sales or other relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or other relevant field preferred OR equivalent experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including phone etiquette
  • Competitive and thrives under pressure
  • Positive attitude & team member
  • Tenacious & resilient
