Job Overview
We are seeking a charismatic Sales Manager candidate, for our Dallas office location. We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for the revenue growth and success of an Inside Sales team delivering marketing technology to local busineses. You will work with your team to develop new opportunities for Scorpion’s best-in-class web design, CMS, and digital marketing technology. This position has a compensation plan that includes a base salary, monthly & quarterly bonuses, and health benefits.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coach the sales team in approaching prospective customers, selling Scorpion solutions, as well as helping them transition customers to Scorpion’s Marketing Success team
- Lead your inside sales team toward achieving quarterly sales objectives
- Provide weekly training sessions to improve the sales team’s skills
- Conduct role-playing exercises with the sales team
- Partner with the Scorpion marketing and project management teams to ensure our customers have an experience with our company that exceeds their expectations
What You'll Need
Experience:
- 4-6 years B2B sales management experience in Internet marketing or SAAS products
- Experience managing a team of 10-15 Inside Sales representatives through a consultative sales process
- Proven ability to lead teams to achieve sales goals and quotas
- Proven ability in developing employees and sales teams
- Proven ability to work with others in a team environment
What You'll Need
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of internet marketing and web technology (ideal but not required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- High versatility with any or multiple CRM platforms (HubSpot, MS Dynamics, GoldMine, Insightly, etc.)
- Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to own and deliver sales team quotas
- Well-respected and well-liked
