Michael is the V.P. of Strategic Marketing at Scorpion, a role that requires an innate ability to keep up with the ever-changing field of internet marketing. Establishing and maintaining a strong online presence is difficult in any professional field, particularly in the legal and medical arenas, which are two of Scorpion's primary focuses. Michael works hand-in-hand with SEO (search engine optimization) and SEM (search engine marketing) teams at the company. This involves overseeing Scorpion’s PPC (pay-per-click) marketing through Google AdWords campaigns and other types of ad campaigns.

Michael's position at the company requires not only leadership skills but a complete knowledge of search engine optimization and marketing. He is Google AdWords-certified and consistently takes the time to remain up-to-date on the constant changes taking place with Google, Google My Business, Bing, and Yahoo. He even keeps current on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter to monitor and take advantage of these social media sites’ potential impact on search engine optimization.

A Strong Business Management & Consulting Background

Michael was born and raised in North Carolina. He grew up taking part in the business that his father built from the ground up, displaying a natural competence in business management and marketing. In 2002, Michael moved to California to work at a successful consulting firm. For four years, he managed consultants and oversaw the quality control department at the firm. He also taught classes on sales, marketing and finance to business owners in a variety of fields. Upon arriving at Scorpion, Michael used his extensive experience in business management, sales, and consulting to contribute to the company's growth through the years.

Michael is an avid golfer and enjoys business consulting.
