Scorpion recently supported the Michael Hoefflin Foundation (MHF) for Children’s Cancer in its 22nd Annual “An Evening Under the Stars” gala, dinner, and charity auction. From the moment you arrived at the event – held on the spacious grounds of Robinson Ranch Golf Club – you were greeted with smiling faces and a strong sense of community. Hundreds of people came together for the gala in support of the worthy efforts put forth by the organization, and Scorpion was proud to be part of it.
Director of Project Management Michelle Annett attended for the second year in a row. “The Michael Hoefflin Foundation not only knows how to throw an elegant and impressive gala, they do it all for a good cause which is evident in every aspect of the occasion.” It is the most important fundraising event the nonprofit does all year. The money raised helps fund MHF operations and programs throughout the next year.
Twenty Scorpions spread out over two tables in attendance of the event. VIP Internet Marketing Manager Ryan Kuhn said “I was proud to be a representative of Scorpion in its support of the Michael Hoefflin Foundation and their mission to positively touch the lives of those affected by this horrible disease.” Kuhn added, “It was a night filled with conversation, laughter, and stories from brave survivors who received support from the Michael Hoefflin Foundation during a difficult time in their lives.”
The event seamlessly raised awareness of pediatric cancer, celebrated the lives of fighters past and present, honored the lives lost this past year, and showed support for the families affected. Through silent and live auctions, the organization created a fun way for guests to contribute to the cause. Content Developer David Rhoades described the event best when he said “It’s amazingly orchestrated – a night of fun punctuated by beautiful reminders of the reason we’re here.”
